How do jacketed tanks work?  

Jacketed tanks have a jacket (usually made of metal) around them. The coat helps keep the contents of the tank at a consistent temperature by circulating a heat-transfer fluid (usually water or glycol) around it. There are two main types of jacketed tanks: those with a dimpled jacket and those with a plated jacket. 

Introduction of stainless steel jacketed tank

The stainless steel jacketed tank has good sealing performance, and the sealing design eliminates the harmful substances in the air and the invasion of mosquitoes into the jacketed tank. The stainless steel jacketed tank has strong corrosion resistance. The residual chlorine does not corrode in the outside air and water to ensure that the outside world does not pollute the materials.

Principle and structure of direct storage jacketed tank:

The jacketed tank comprises a box, mixer, maintenance hole, inlet, outlet, cleaning port, etc. The upper and lower parts of the jacketed tank body are designed as conical heads, with no dead angle for cleaning. The product has advanced design and manufacturing technology, reliable performance, heat dissipation, insulation performance, and health standards aligned with the advanced level.

Customized part

1. The inner and outer layers of the jacketed tank can be equipped with polyester foam to prevent the material temperature from losing in the jacketed tank. The material has the advantages of low thermal conductivity, lightweight, high strength and low water absorption, and good heat preservation performance.

2. It can be equipped with a Miller version heating cooling layer, which is suitable for sterilizing and cooling materials such as juice and milk. It can be directly filled with ice water, hot water, and hot steam.

3. Pneumatic valve and electric control panel can be added to automatically control the material in and out, the switch of mixing, and the heating and cooling temperature of the material in the jacketed tank

Industries and Applications

This steam heating jacket mixes tank-mix materials like juice, milk, drink, chemicals, cosmetics, etc. It is with an electric mixer, and the motor could be regulated. It adopts the high quality of SUS304 material and meets with the food grade. It is easy to operate and wash. Also, it could be set with an automatic CIP spraying head for more easy washing. The heating method we use is steam heating.
